Bei diesem »Hin und weg!« begeben sich Dirigent und Moderator Hans-Christoph Rademann und die Gaechinger Cantorey in das Jahr 1729 nach Leipzig. Der 27. Februar ist Estomihi – der letzte Sonntag vor der Passionszeit. Sechs Jahre zuvor hatte Bach genau für jenes Estomihi seine beiden Kantaten BWV 22 und 23 geschrieben, die Bewerbungskantaten für das Amt des Thomaskantors. Die Gegenüberstellung von BWV 23 und BWV 159 bildet den Auftakt für dieses Konzert. In der Folge werden wie gewohnt einzelne Passagen seziert, Klangbeispiele zerlegt und aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven erläutert. Abschließend erklingt die Kantate als ganzes Werk. In this "Hin und weg!", conductor and presenter Hans-Christoph Rademann and the Gaechinger Cantorey go back to Leipzig in the year 1729. The 27th of February marks Estomihi – the last Sunday before the Passion season. Six years earlier, precisely for that Estomihi, Bach had written his two cantatas BWV 22 and 23 to promote his candidture as the new head of Thomaskirche in Leipzig. The prelude to this concert will be a comparison of BWV 23 and BWV 159. In the following individual passages will be focused, sound samples dissected and explained from different perspectives.
